Description

VONR 1601. ADULT HEALTH FOR THE VOCATIONAL NURSE

This course covers the normal and abnormal function of body systems through the lens of a vocational nurse. Students combine knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology principles with nursing processes and standards to address the health of the adult across the lifespan. Students will apply pharmacological knowledge and nutritional principles to the health of the adult through a holistic and culturally sensitive evidence-based approach to care.
