VONR 1108. MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL NURSING FOR THE VOCATIONAL NURSE
This course focuses on effective application of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the vocational nurse in using nursing principles in caring for culturally and socially diverse individuals with mental health concerns. The student will use clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice in the application of the nursing process. Nursing care is directed at health maintenance, restoration, health promotion, and teaching patients with mental health concerns
