MATH 2422. CALCULUS I

This is a thorough introduction to the theory and applications of differential and integral calculus. Topics include functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, the Mean Value Theorem, applications of derivatives, integrals, numerical integration, integral methods, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Recommended for students who plan to major in mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry, and premedical programs. PREREQUISITE: MATH 1321 Algebra competency as determined by course credit, placement, or test score, or consent of the instructor.
