Before being enrolled into the Vocational Nursing Program at Schreiner University, a student must show PROOF of immunization against the following diseases:
1. TETANUS/DIPHTHERIA (TD) — must have had one dose within ten years.
2. MEASLES — Those born on or after January 1, 1957 must have proof of two doses since their first birthday. Doses must be at least 30 days apart. If born before January 1, 1957, must have proof of at least one dose. Documentation of physician validated history is also accepted:

4. RUBELLA — Must have proof of at least one dose:
5. HEPATITIS B — It is highly recommended that all health occupation students receive the Hepatitis B immunization series. The student may receive the series through his/her physician.
6. TB skin test or Chest X-ray — Must be current, after November 1, 2012.
7. MENINGITIS -- Must be completed at least 10 days before beginning classes.
